We help Indonesian children born with clubfoot to live a life without disability

Every year more than 5,000 Indonesian children are born with clubfoot. Many will end up in a wheelchair. This doesn’t have to happen. We work to make sure every child gets the treatment they need to be able to walk, run and play.

We work in partnership with care providers, parents and children towards independence and self-reliance.

We train midwives and midwife assistants to help spot clubfoot in newborn babies. We support families on their journey, helping them to navigate complicated systems. And we provide basic equipment to families that cannot afford it.

Every year in Indonesia 1 of 555 children are born with a clubfoot. Early treatment should correct it, yet thousands of children are falling through the cracks. Unable to access the support and treatment they need, many will needlessly end up in wheelchairs.
